| MINISTRY IN ACTION "Ministry in Action" is the name of our monthly newsletter that not only is sent out to our members and friends, but sent out throughout the United States to those who have requested it. We have found that not only is the newsletter a greatt way for our "Northern" friends and family to see what we are up to, but is also an awesome way to evangelize and witness to many who never enter our little church. Over the months we have received emails and letters describing how the newsletter has touched lives through the articles and true life stories. We invite you to submit articles to our "Ministry in Action" team for possible publication. To submit an article, picture, etc., or to request the newsletter to be mailed to you, do so by emailing the item to Pastor Chris at revchrislbarber@gmail.com. We try to have the newsletter mailed out by the 12th, so we need to have submissions in no later than the 5th of the month. We look forward to hearing from you. |
OUR
PASTOR Our Pastor is Chris L. Barber, PhD. He and his wife Lisa moved to Zephyrhills in August of 2004, after his retiring from the military. The have five children and three grandchildren. Chris is a bivocational pastor who works for the Pasco County School Board at Wiregrass Ranch High School with the Profound Mentally Handicapped, and also is a football and softball coach. Chris has undergraduate and graduate degrees in Christian Ministry and Missions. He is also a proud member of the Cherokee Nation and wrote his Doctoral dissertation on the history of Christin/American Indian relations. |
